Artwork meaning:

The artwork by Jordan Lovegrove, Ngarrindjeri, of Dreamtime Creative, depicts SA Pharmacy’s relationship with South Australian Hospitals, the many Out-of-Hospital services provided and their commitment to closing the gap. SA Pharmacy is represented by the large central meeting place and the 16 South Australian metropolitan and rural public hospitals by the smaller meeting places. SA Pharmacy provides clinically led, cost-efficient, professional pharmacy services to the hospitals which is shown by the pathways leading between them. The pathways going beyond the hospitals represents SA Pharmacy’s range of Out-of-Hospital services which include Drug and Alcohol Services, SA Ambulance Services, and SA Prison Health Services. SA Pharmacy’s commitment to closing the gap, improving access to essential medications for Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people is shown by the dotted patterns throughout the artwork.
