Adelaide Zoo

Artwork meaning:

The artwork by Jordan Lovegrove, Ngarrindjeri, of Dreamtime Creative shows Zoos SA connecting people with nature, educating them and saving species from extinction. Zoos SA is represented by the large central meeting place, the big pathway going through the centre of the artwork shows the educational journey of people and communities who come to the Zoos (Adelaide & Monarto). The animal symbols throughout the artwork represent some of the different animals that live and are looked after at the Zoos (Adelaide & Monarto) and the different animal habitats/enclosures are represented by the various backgrounds.
